NU Series
Start with workpiece size and load. NU 170C suits smaller parts, while NU 255C and 400C provide larger tables and higher load capacity. NU 550 offers the largest working range in this group, 300 kg vertical load capacity, and a standard 32-tool magazine.
NU 400C supports workpieces up to Ø500 × 350 mm with a 200 kg vertical load. NU 550 increases this to Ø550 × 350 mm and 300 kg, making these two models the better choices for larger or heavier parts.
NU 550 uses a monoblock structure and comes standard with a 12,000 rpm I.D.D. spindle, 30 kW spindle motor, 32-tool chain magazine, and simultaneous 5-axis control.
NU 170C / 255C / 400C come standard with 10,000 rpm I.D.D. spindles, with 12,000 and 15,000 rpm options available. NU 550 comes standard with 12,000 rpm. Tool magazine capacity ranges from 20 to 60 tools depending on the model and option.
