Innovative Design Concepts
  • SMART series is a mid-sized VMC developed for the electrical and automotive segments of the die and mold industry. The machine is equipped with unique I.D.D. spindle that designed to reduce vibration and to increase machining accuracy, high speed ATC and fast machine feedrate to perform high speed machining operations.
  • Symmetrical and well balanced machine structure provides dynamic stability and performance.
  • The bracket for ballscrews is built-in casting combined with class C3 precision coolant through hollow ballscrews with pretensioned support on both ends to minimize backlash and compensate the thermal-induced error. 
  • Inline, direct-driven spindle that is coupled directly to the motor provides smooth operations for excellent surface finishes, and equipped with spindle oil cooler which can reduce operating heat for greater thermal stability.
  • Final laser inspection and ball bar testing ensure repeatability and positioning accuracy.
